Scientific and Technical Conference “Development of High-Speed Railways in Poland”

On June 21-23, 2023, the Scientific and Technical Conference “Development of High-Speed Railways in Poland” was held at the Qubus Hotel in Gdansk. The event was attended by Ph.D. engineer Piotr Kisielewski – professor Associate at the Technology University, he was a member of the Conference Program Council. On the second day of the event, he delivered a speech entitled: “High-speed railways – global trends and Polish perspective.” The aim of the conference was to present the prospects for the development of high-speed railways in Poland in five areas:

  • Organizational, legal and environmental protection
  • Track infrastructure
  • Railway traffic control systems
  • Rolling stock
  • Electro traction power supply

Mr. Andrzej Adamczyk, Minister of Infrastructure, agreed to be the honorary patron of the Conference.
