Electronic waybill – new mobile application within the TransERP system

We have successfully completed the initial stage of a project that will deliver novel solution for carriers – electronic waybill.

A long expected addition to the operational services system TransERP was introduced – mobile technology software integrated with the dispatcher module that can be installed on tablets and smartphones using Android OS.

The idea behind this solution was to eliminate unpractical, printed waybills and other documents and to replace the manual verification and edition of those documents by automatic and intelligent processes within the IT system.

Thanks to our new application running on mobile devices with touchscreens, many redundant, manual administrative tasks performed by the drivers, can now be eliminated or automated.

Drivers have got constant access to real time data pertaining to their work. Data is updated in real time due to synchronisation between the mobile device and a TransERP database. Drivers can access items such as:

• timesheet
• schedule
• electronic waybill for each duty
• electronic list of trips for each bus service
• on-line changes to the work plan
