First implementation of trains scheduling system in Polish company – Mazovia Railways

After hard and creative work both employees of the Mazovia Railways and our team of specialists in optimization algorithms and software developers, the implementation of first trains scheduling system was launched.

This pioneering on a scale Polish and European task was prepared in our company for many years. All our customers from the rail industry asking us for such a system for a long time and repeatedly encouraged us to design and create device like that.

However, until we create the innovative system design to synchronize and optimize the timetables, tasks and services we were not able to face this challenge.

When we finally archive this, the time to starting such a project in Mazovia Railways has come. In conclusion it resulted in an agreement on joint implementation of this system.

Masovia Railways are one of the largest rail operators in Poland. Transports in Mazovia and neighboring regions are connected with the communication network of Warsaw. There are several hundred units of fleet of many different location.

Therefore, they are the best “testing ground” for the design and construction the trains scheduling system.

During the work a joint team was appointed, which regularly, week after week, had designing the new elements of the system, had testing ready functionality prepared in team of programmers and fine-tuned rising system up to perfection.

Despite difficulties and many logic problems encountered along the way we were able to construct an effective tool to optimize the usage of fleet.
