On April 18-19, 2024, the IGKM Traffic and Electronic Systems Commission met in Nysa. The conference was combined with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of MZK in Nysa, a user of our IT systems for many years. IGKM invited prof. Piotr Kisielewski to participate in the deliberations as an expert in the organized discussion panel “Mechanisms for settling and reporting transport tasks: settling the implementation of tasks between the organizer and the operator, implementation of exits and arrivals, assessment of the quality of service performance and its settlement”.
As part of the second panel entitled “Dispatching strategies related to shortages”, prof. Piotr Kisielewski delivered a presentation prepared jointly with prof. Aleksander Sobota of the Silesian University of Technology and dr inż. Marek Bauer, Vice-Rector of the Cracow University of Technology, a presentation entitled “Supporting dispatching decisions in situations of dynamic changes and shortage of public transport resources” devoted to the optimization algorithms developed at DPK together with research teams from the Cracow University of Technology that support changes in real-time planning of timetables in emergency situations.
