Sankt Petersburg’s Board of Communication visits DPK System

One of the first foreign contractors interested in CityLineDesigner was the Board of Communication from Sankt Petersburg. Municipal transport in this enormous agglomeration is being handled by multiple transport types and by using thousands of vehicles. One of the tasks being carried out in St. Petersburg is the modernization of public transportation. The initial phase of this task is to find and secure an IT system that will manage the process. The delegation visiting DPK System consisted of Board’s directors and the members of maintenance and IT Departments.

During the two days visit our Guests got familiar with our software and functionalities of CityLineDesigner. They also got the opportunity to see our implemented system in action. Fully operational and live system was presented in ZDiTM Szczecin. While visiting Szczecin our Guests also got familiar with GMV’s offer of passenger information and ticketing systems. GMV is the main contractor of ZDiTM Szczecin that integrates various systems. DPK System was a subcontractor responsible for the scheduling tools in Szczecin.

All the meetings and presentations were conducted in a professional manner. Both sides were well prepared and the level of discussion was very high. Our Guests were impressed by the complexity and the quality of our solutions and we look further for meetings and negotiations.
