BVG, a public transport operator in Berlin, canceled the tender procedure in which we participated 2 years ago. We received an e-mail from BVG informing us that after the modification of the Terms of Reference, the tender would be announced again, and we would be invited to it.
We received the first invitation to participate in the procedure for the delivery of an IT system for managing the timetable for BVG in May 2018, and on August 30, 2018 our delegation, including our management and a team of implementation specialists, went to Berlin. There a day-long negotiation meeting was held including a presentation of the CityLineDesigner system. After another round of negotiations and clarification of procedural problems, the procedure has not been resolved to this day and has finally been annulled.
Berlin serves ten metro lines; the tram network consists of 22 routes and buses serve 149 lines. Berlin needs an IT system for constructing timetables that will ensure efficient communication and a convenient transfer system for passengers, and our CityLineDesigner will certainly meet the requirements.
